This educational tour focuses on the natural wonders of the amazing lifestyles of sea turtles. You will be an arms length away from the leatherback sea turtles as they go through their nesting process. You will be asked to do what is necessary to ensure that the turtle nest successfully by removing any obstacle that can prevent nesting. You will observe quietly while the guides share important information about the biology and conservation of sea turtles. On this tour you will view and touch the turtle and have an opportunity to interact closely during specific time of the nesting ritual. Photographs can be taken during the laying process.
You will leave with a wealth of information about behaviour and biology about this endangered Leatherback Turtles.
The tour occurs nightly (March – August) – once weather conditions are favorable
